How to design your online survey questionnaire

Online surveys are an effective way of collecting information. However, with the availability of DIY platforms such as SurveyMonkey, with dozens of questions types including simple radio buttons, checkboxes, drop down menus and open text boxes, it’s easy for anyone to produce and field a survey without an understanding of how it might have a negative impact on participant experience and result in unreliable data.

This 90 minute interactive workshop has been developed for participants with basic questionnaire design experience as well as those wanting a refresher. The workshop will provide you with the skills to enable you to design an online questionnaire using SurveyMonkey as an example, that will meet the survey objectives, allow participants to answer accurately and completely and reduce the risk of bias and provide you with reliable and valid information.
